welcome
I’m Claudia, a yoga and meditation teacher, soft tissue massage therapist, and dance facilitator based in Nottingham.
My movement journey began with a professional dance training, which led me to explore a range of movement practices worldwide. I have worked in community settings, yoga studios, corporate spaces, and retreats.
My connection to movement and holistic health began in my teens, when I found in yoga a way to support my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This personal experience sparked my curiosity about how the body and mind naturally thrive when we bring gentle awareness and intention to the present moment.
I’m here to support you with offerings grounded in safety, integrity, and guidance you can trust. I’ve been through all the challenges myself: injuries, limiting beliefs, emotional suffering, and confusing or controlling spiritual teachings. It’s through that journey that I’ve found what I practice and offer now. My work is born from that real experience, not theory.
YOGA
Accessible yoga from the heart, allowing even beginners to explore the deepest layers of the body, mind, and spirit. My teaching reflects my diverse movement background and bodywork training, drawing inspiration from multiple disciplines. Sessions include clear anatomical cues, hands-on assists, and massage, balanced with philosophy and mindfulness, all delivered in a down-to-earth and welcoming way.
I offer classes at studios throughout Nottingham, such as Deep Yoga & Hot Pod, as well as a community class at Unity Performance in Arnold. This also makes it suitable for people looking for a yoga class in Mapperley or Sherwood, with great parking and bus connections.
MASSAGE
From the moment we begin, I create a space of safety, relaxation, and trust. I take time to understand your experience and encourage open feedback, so you can fully settle into the session.
Using a blend of deep tissue and sports massage techniques, each session is gently guided by what your body needs in the moment. I also offer mindful movement and posture suggestions to support your ongoing sense of ease and connection.
After our time together, many notice a deeper sense of freedom, alignment, and balance in their body. I welcome people from all backgrounds to explore greater ease and presence in their movement and daily life. Learn more here.
DANCE
I run ecstatic dance sessions at IMPACD CIC in Sneinton. In these sessions, participants are invited to explore free-form movement in a safe and inclusive environment. The sessions begin with grounding practices to help you connect with your body, followed by a journey through music that encourages authentic expression. There are no expectations, just an opportunity to move in a way that feels right for you. Whether you choose to dance energetically or remain still, the focus is on personal experience and community connection. Book your first dance now.
A FINAL WORD
Whatever I do, my aim is to support you with gentle guidance and practical ways to stay connected to your body, so you feel confident and empowered in your own natural movement and well-being.
