ABOUT CLAUDIA

Along the way, I have navigated a range of personal challenges, including injuries, limiting beliefs, emotional struggles, and exposure to confusing or controlling spiritual teachings. These experiences have deeply informed my path and shaped the way I work today, with offerings informed by non-dual tantra, as well as somatic and embodied movement principles.

I offer support grounded in safety and integrity. My work is rooted in what I have personally explored, integrated, and embodied, rather than in theory or analysis.

I am Mummy to beautiful Luca (6) and Raffaella (3). This year, I am embarking on a 300-hour training rooted in the tradition of Kashmir Shaivism to deepen my practice and offerings.

I have been teaching and holding space since 2015. My connection to movement and health began in my teens, when I discovered yoga. This early experience sparked a lasting curiosity about how the body and mind can naturally thrive when illuminated into awareness.

I went on to pursue professional dance training, which became the foundation of my movement journey and led me to explore a wide range of movement and bodywork practices around the world. Over time, I have worked in diverse environments, including community settings, yoga studios, corporate spaces, and on retreats.

yoga

Accessible yoga from the heart, allowing even beginners to explore the deepest layers of the body, mind, and spirit. Claudia’s teaching reflects her diverse movement background and bodywork training, drawing inspiration from multiple disciplines. Sessions include clear anatomical cues, hands-on assists and somatic guidance, all balanced with philosophy and ancient wisdom. Claudia delivers her sessions in a down-to-earth and welcoming way, whilst retaining a respect and commitment to the practices she is devoted to.

Claudia’s current practice and teaching are informed by the lineage and lens of non-dual tantra, a contemplative approach centred on direct experience and embodied awareness. At its essence, non-dual tantra invites practitioners into presence, meeting life exactly as it is, without separation between body, mind, and spirit.

Within this framework, Claudia guides students toward a felt sense of wholeness which is already there, rather than striving toward an external goal or ideal state. This is deepening intimacy with the present moment, including sensation, emotion, and thought as they arise.

massage

From the moment the massage begins, Claudia creates a space of safety, relaxation, and trust. She takes time to understand your experience and encourages open feedback, so you can fully settle into the session.

Using a blend of deep tissue and sports massage techniques, each session is gently guided by what your body needs in the moment. Claudia also offers embodied movement and posture suggestions to support your ongoing sense of ease and connection.

After a session, many notice a deeper sense of freedom, alignment, and balance in their body. Claudia welcomes people from all backgrounds to explore greater ease and presence in their movement and daily life.

dance

Claudia is the host of Ecstatic Dance Nottingham. In these sessions, participants are invited to explore free-form movement in a safe and inclusive environment. The sessions begin with grounding embodiment and somatic practices to help you connect with the body, followed by a journey through music that encourages authentic expression. There are no expectations, just an opportunity to move in a way that feels right for you. Whether you choose to dance energetically or remain still, the focus is on personal experience and community connection.

meditation

With Claudia, each offering and practice is a meditation and experience. It is not something separate that you need to work to attain, but rather something you tap or tune into. She weaves meditation and experiencing into each of the practices she offers above, but you can also access free content on the website, or through a leading meditation app called Insight Timer.

Her style of guidance is rooted in experiencing and returning to what is actually happening in the moment with awareness, rather than rejecting or denying any part of life. This is unusual in modern spirituality, which prioritises feeling ’good’, ‘fixing' yourself, or having peak experiences. Sometimes mediation will be uncomfortable, but it will usually be illuminating. Many students find relief in this permission to be exactly as they are, rather than being stuck in old conditioned stories that there is something wrong or broken within them.

A FINAL WORD

At Stillness In Motion, the intention is to support you with gentle guidance and practical ways to stay connected to your body, so you feel confident and empowered in your own natural movement and well-being.
